Mina Rossi Day 10🏖🏖🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎😎

 Hi everyone! This is Mina Rossi and I’m here to post my second blog post and tell you about the tenth day on our trip. Today was very eventful and by far my favorite day. We started the day off with our hotel's breakfast. Some people got pancakes and fruit, while others got the traditional costa rican breakfast, gallo pinto. After breakfast we got on the bus to head to our first destination of the day. We boarded a boat to whale watch and met our guide Kiko. Kiko was very intelligent and had a lot of insight on the ecology and animals to look out for while on the boat. The boat ride was more fun for some of us than others due to some motion sickness that some of us experienced. However, there’s no doubt that seeing dolphins and schools of black tuna was enjoyable for everyone on the boat. We stopped on a beach for a bit to look at the scenery and found a waterfall that we took a group picture under. We found a unique variety of rocks and animals on the land. Once we finished our time on the boat we walked to lunch which was a five minute walk from the beach. For lunch, I got pasta with shrimp as well as the typical smoothie that comes with Costa Rican dishes. My choice of smoothie was a lemon and mint combo. After a delicious lunch spent debriefing the boat experience, we got the opportunity to relax on a nearby beach.  We swam, listened to music, and played frisbee. We also happened to see monkeys in nearby trees which was a very unexpected but amazing suprise. Afterwards, we shopped in nearby souvenir stores. We also stopped at a grocery store to get snacks or other necessities needed for our upcoming week on camp. The next three hours were spent back at the hotel where we rested and got ready for dinner at 6:30. Dinner was at the same restaurant we went to the previous night. After an eventful and fun day we headed back to the hotel for our debrief and reflection. Graham Bennett Today was a very chill day. A lot of us woke up early to walk and fish on the beach. We had a lot of downtime. After a while we went shopping to get out of the hotel and many of us bought souvenirs and clothes. The markets were very cool and we’re packed with bracelets and wooden carvings. Then we went to the beach, waded in the water and played with the soccer ball. We had a lot of fun splashing in the waves and playing volleyball. It was good to have a relaxed day after a lot of work and travel days.

 Hi everyone! This is day 9 and I vlogged once again! I didn’t get much of chance to explain, but we got to hear about and support a woman’s entrepreneurship initiative. They are trying to legalize their businesses and be recognized by the government. Overall a great day!
